Step 1: Get the Right Tool
- Use a flexible measuring tape (like a tailorโs tape).
- Make sure the tape shows measurements in inches.
Step 2: Stand Properly
- Stand straight with feet together.
- Relax your body.
- Do not suck in your stomach.
Step 3: Find the Natural Waist
- Locate the narrowest part of the waist.
This is usually just above the belly button. Or midway between the bottom of the ribs and the top of the hips.
Step 4: Wrap the Measuring Tape
- Wrap the measuring tape around the waist.
- Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
- Make sure it is snug but not too tight.
- The tape should not twist.
Step 5: Take the Measurement
- Breathe out normally.
- Read the number where the tape meets.
- Note the measurement in inches.
Step 6: Record the Measurement
- Write it down clearly.
Example: Waist Size = 30 inches

- Breathe normally and note the measurement in inches.

- Find the natural waist (the narrowest part of the torso, usually above the belly button).
- Wrap the tape around this area.
- Keep it snug but comfortable.
- Do not hold your breath.
- Note the measurement in inches.

Step 4: How to Measure Hip Size
- Stand with feet together.
- Wrap the tape around the fullest part of the hips and buttocks.
- Keep the tape straight and level.
- Do not tighten the tape.
- Note the measurement in inches.๐ Example: Hip = 38 inches

Bust: 36 inches
Waist: 30 inches
Hip: 38 inches
